Tree Plantation Drive

MIJARC ASIA Trust, an eco-conscious organization, takes tree plantation as a heartfelt responsibility towards creating a healthy environment. Trees play a vital role — they produce oxygen, purify the air, support wildlife, and help fight climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide. Planting trees also prevents soil erosion and keeps our surroundings cool and green. In this spirit, over 40 enthusiastic children and youth joined hands to plant trees, learning to love and protect nature for a brighter, sustainable future.

Awareness of Importance of Nutritious Food

As part of UNDROP awareness, MIJARC ASIA Trust organized a lively program to promote the importance of nutritious food and the joy of growing it ourselves. Around 30 enthusiastic children and youth came together to plant tomatoes, brinjals, leafy greens, drumstick plants, and a few flower plants. Through these activities, they learned the value of healthy eating and caring for nature. Fun games were held, and tasty, healthy snacks were shared, making the day joyful and memorable for everyone.

Awareness of Kitchen Garden

Our organization organized an engaging awareness program on Agroecology and Kitchen Gardening to inspire students to connect with nature and understand sustainable farming. As part of the event, a fun and educational quiz competition was conducted, encouraging students to test their knowledge and learn more about healthy, eco-friendly practices. Excitement filled the air as prizes were distributed to the winners, motivating everyone to participate with enthusiasm. The program helped students realize the importance of growing their own food and protecting the environment.

Awareness UNDROP and Peasant Rights

A heartfelt meeting takes place with local young farmers to raise awareness about UNDROP and Peasants’ Rights, empowering them to know and stand up for their rights. This program also interacts with Catholic workers from different fields like painters, brick makers, electricians, mechanics, and shopkeepers to understand their daily challenges in the Telangana region. Many youth join the program, share their experiences openly, and feel truly heard and supported. The gathering inspires hope and unity among everyone involved.

Program on Agroecology Practices

We also organize several programs on agroecology practices at our changemakers’ homes in Telangana. During the summer season, our activities include watering the plants, using natural fertilizers, cleaning the surroundings, and setting up fencing to protect the plants. These hands-on efforts help young people learn the importance of caring for nature and practicing sustainable farming at home. The program encourages them to grow healthy food and create a greener, healthier environment in their own spaces.

Covid 19 Relief

During the COVID-19 pandemic, MIJARC–Asia acted as a responsible and compassionate force in supporting rural communities. Recognizing the urgent needs of vulnerable families, we distributed essential ration and grocery items to help them overcome food shortages and daily struggles. Through this initiative, we reached and supported over 200 people, ensuring they felt cared for and not left behind during this challenging time. Our solidarity brought hope and relief to many.
